Prerequisites

Before you start using Dotfuscator CE on your Visual Studio Code IDE, make sure of the following: 

1. Your Visual Studio Code has a version of 1.116.0 or later
2. You have the latest .NET runtime installed on your system. Go to Download .NET to download the latest .NET version. 

Note: If you don't have the required version of .NET runtime, the extension attempts to install it on your behalf.
