The Control Flow Editor

Use the Control Flow Editor to configure Control Flow Obfuscation and manage Control Flow Exclusions.

To open the Control Flow Editor, select Control Flow in the Config Editor.

The Control Flow Editor contains the following tabs:

Exclude Tab

The Exclude tab provides granular control over which methods are excluded from Control Flow Obfuscation.

From this tab, you can:

• Exclude individual methods from Control Flow Obfuscation.
• Create custom exclusion rules.
• Preview the effects of exclusion rules.
• Disable Control Flow Obfuscation entirely.

Excluding Individual Methods

To exclude specific methods:

1. Browse the application tree.
2. Locate the method you want to exclude.
3. Select the method for exclusion.
4. Save the configuration.

Use method exclusions when testing identifies performance-sensitive code that should not be transformed.

Creating Custom Exclusion Rules

Custom exclusion rules allow multiple methods to be excluded using a single rule.

Use custom rules when multiple methods share common characteristics and require the same exclusion behavior.

Previewing Exclusions

The application tree provides a visual preview of excluded code elements.

Excluded items are shaded within the tree view, allowing you to verify the impact of your exclusions before protecting the application.

You can preview:

Preview exclusions whenever you create or modify rules to verify that the intended methods are selected.

Options Tab

The Options tab is used to configure the global level of Control Flow Obfuscation.
